Here are pics of some of the B-day gifts Olivia received. From Grandpa and Grandma Harvey she got a new twin bed.
Tonight is her first night sleeping in it and so far I haven't heard a peep.
This is her kitchen from Nana Colleen. She has been making me and Brian lots of burgers and even washes the dishes when she is done.
This is Olivia in an outfit from Grandma Hopkins. As you can tell by her face she was telling us " No pictures". I still can't believe she is already two years old!

Olivia's Birthday Party!

Olivia turned 2 today so we had a birthday party for her. It turned out really well. All of our family from Jacksonville and friends from Raleigh came out to help us celebrate. The first picture is of Olivia when everyone was singing Happy Birthday to her.

We played "Pin the tail on the donkey" with all of the kids. Most of the tails ended up in exactly the right spot so I'm not sure how well the blindfold was working.

Olivia got a coupon for a free kid's meal from Moe's for her birthday so today we went and got it. She really liked the assortment of dips for her quesadilla and chips. They have this tomatillo sauce that is kind of hot and when she tried it she was sticking her tongue out and breathing weird. I started laughing and gave her a sip of water. That is definitely one of my favorite parts of being a parent is watching all her "firsts" in life.

Breaking Out the Pool!

Since the temps were in the 100's today we set up Olivia's pool for the first time this summer. I'm not quite sure if she remembers it from last year, but she is still absolutely in love with it.

Here Olivia has finally learned how to enjoy the floating ring when before it was usually met with protests of "I don't like it" and then she would throw it out of the pool.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday and thanks to my wonderful family I had a really special day. This is the yummy cake that my mom brought for me. I also got some beautiful cards and awesome gifts that definitely brightened my day.
